Lambda Research Corporation proposes the Course "TracePro: Optimization" that will be hold next December 10th and 11th, 2024, from 16:00 to 18:00 CET.
This four-hour, instructor-led, online training course is intended for someone who has completed our Introduction to TracePro class, or for someone that has experience with TracePro. This course will be a mixture of lectures and hands-on examples. This course will cover the theory behind optimization and provide a full overview of the Interactive Optimizer in TracePro. All aspects of the optimization process, including creating the geometry, applying properties, setting up sources, and defining optimization targets will be addressed. Optimization examples feature lenses, reflectors, and light guides.
Topics to be covered include:
Session 1 (December 10th, 2024)
Introduction to the Interactive Optimizer
Interactive Optimization Workflow
- Making Geometry
- Defining Variables
- Optimization Operands
Session 2 (December 11th, 2024)
Setting up the Model in TracePro
- What to make and what not to make in the optimizer
- Positioning optimizer objects in the TracePro Model
- Setting the analysis tools in TracePro
Examples
- Lens
- Reflector
- Light guide
- Tolerancing
